Some people are faster at it, others are slower. Some NPCs have better developments than many side characters like Wald. Is not just about talking to NPCs, but about understanding and following what they say, getting immersed. I'm doing it and I'm at ch3, day 4 and I have 58h clocked in. there's probably more than that in just the story itself, let alone all of the sidequests. Even if there's like 100 NPCs whose dialogue updates a few times per chapter, you're only looking at maybe 800 sentences per chapter. Again, pure guesswork on that.Originally posted by Valk:TBH with the turbo function I dont think even that would be enough to hit 100h. This part is speculation but I suspect they probably told NIS America if they want Reverie (And quite possibly also Kuro) then they have to also agree to Zero and Azure. They (Falcom) were sick of Zero and Azure being skipped over for Western releases. In fact, I believe I read somewhere a long time ago that part of the reason that Falcom made the PS4 versions of Zero and Azure was to make them more appealing to NIS America for localization. That was way more tantalizing to XSEED so they decided to forgo releasing Zero and Azure in favor of Cold Steel which had a higher sales potential. They were initially skipped over because by the time XSEED (Whom handled Trails releases in the West at the time) would've gotten to them, Cold Steel was starting up in Japan. They then got released on the Vita and now PS4/Switch/PC. Yeah, Zero and Azure were originally PSP games. so they released it backwards for the western audience? yet in the cold steel games i recall them consistently making reference to the "previous" arcs events in liberl :sunekosuri: hmm
